Emergency Physicians

Rep. Mark Green, MD (R-TN-07)

Dr. Green is serving his third term in the U.S. House of Representatives. After serving in the Army, Green founded an emergency department staffing company for 52 hospitals across 11 states. He also founded two free medical clinics that provide healthcare to under-served populations in Memphis and Clarksville. (Committee on Homeland Security; Committee on Foreign Affairs)

Rep. Ronny Jackson, MD (R-TX-13)

Dr. Jackson is serving his second term in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was the White House Physician under the George W. Bush, Obama, and Trump administrations. Prior to his time in the White House, Dr. Jackson served as Diving Medical Officer in the Navy and in the U.S. Marine Corps as Emergency Medicine Physician in charge of Resuscitative Medicine for a combat Surgical Shock Trauma Platoon in Iraq. Rep. Rich McCormick, MD, MBA (R-GA-06)

Dr. McCormick is serving his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives. McCormick served in the Marine Corps for two decades, earning the rank of Commander. He earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine through Emory while training at Grady Hospital in Atlanta. Rep. Raul Ruiz, MD (D-CA-25)

Dr. Ruiz is serving his sixth term in the U.S. House of Representatives. Dr. Ruiz was the first Latino to earn three graduate degrees from Harvard University, one of which was his medical degree. He worked as an emergency physician at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, and started the Coachella Valley Healthcare Initiative in Palm Springs.
