Public Health and Injury Prevention Committee

The Public Health and Injury Prevention Committee is composed of public health minded ACEP members and professional liaisons to provide evidence-based policy and practice guidance for ACEP and the practicing emergency physician regarding public health and injury prevention concerns. The scope of policy and practice concerns include protecting public health and reducing injuries seen in the emergency department. The committee endeavors to provide its expert guidance through timely group discussion and the peer review process.
